Our Story

More than a decade ago, CODOS was born in Hamburg’s vibrant Schanzenviertel. What began as a humble coffee bar fueled by a shared passion for exceptional coffee and meaningful connections soon grew into something much larger. Rooted in family spirit – with our beloved bulldog Snatch as mascot – CODOS has evolved into a network of coffee spots across Germany.

From the very beginning, hospitality has been at the heart of everything we do: creating warm, welcoming spaces where every guest feels at home. In 2017, our journey continued with the opening of our boutique roastery in Hamburg, where we craft each roast with care – growing steadily, cup by cup.
