Behind Avelã is a network of farms doing real work on the land they farm. At Fazenda Pinheiro, a biogas system turns farm residues into clean energy, and the Mata Atlântica project protects and restores native forest in the region. Across the farms, regular soil analysis means fertilizer is only used where the land actually needs it, and at Fazenda Matão, a water-conserving irrigation system supports the cherry through the growing season without drawing more than necessary. Partner producers are held to the same values on labour rights and fair pay, with Rainforest Alliance certification prioritized among them, and close, personal contact kept through farm visits.
